Roger Pearce
PASTOR’S BACKGROUND
A veteran of forty-four years in ministry, Roger D. Pearce has served as pastor at Grace since 1995. He was born in Vilonia, Arkansas, in 1953 and graduated from Vilonia High School in 1971. He received Christ at age 15 and surrendered to the ministry three years later. A graduate of Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas, he has served churches in Arkansas, Missouri, and Washington, as youth pastor or pastor. He served as a Baptist Missionary Association of America church-planter in Tacoma, Washington, and Columbia, Tennessee. He currently serves as Treasurer of the United Missionary Baptist Association.
Pastor Pearce married Debbie Carter from Warren, Arkansas, in 1974. They have four grown children and nine grandchildren. Debbie works as an educational interpreter for the deaf for the Dardanelle School District. She leads the deaf ministry at Grace and is involved in deaf ministry at various levels.
